Shape Rush

Shape Rush is a fast and challenging rhythm platformer where your square is always on the move. There is no stopping, slowing down, or waiting for the perfect opportunity. You must react quickly as your shape races through spikes, walls, barriers, and dangerous ceilings.

The real challenge is timing. Every jump, flight, and flip needs to match the rhythm of the music. Make the right move and your run continues smoothly. Hit an obstacle, however, and you are sent straight back to the beginning of the level.

A Platformer Where the Beat Matters

Unlike a traditional platform game, Shape Rush connects its obstacles to the soundtrack. The music provides useful timing clues as your square travels through each course.

Instead of watching the screen alone, try to feel the rhythm. Certain jumps and movements become easier to predict when you recognize the beat. Combining your vision with the music can help you react more accurately.

Keep Your Square Moving

Your character automatically runs through the level from start to finish. You are not responsible for controlling its forward speed. Your focus is entirely on choosing the correct action at the correct time.

Depending on the section, your square may need to:

• Jump over spikes and barriers.
• Fly through dangerous areas.
• Flip around obstacles.
• Adjust movement to match the rhythm.
• Prepare for the next trap before reaching it.

The simple controls make Shape Rush easy to understand, but the fast pace makes it difficult to master.
