Blockader

Blockader is a colorful 2D roguelite arena shooter where space-faring rodents battle endless waves of enemies on a lunar battlefield. Your weapons fire automatically, so instead of aiming and shooting manually, you need to focus on movement, positioning, survival, and building a powerful upgrade combination.

Every wave brings new danger, but it also gives you opportunities to become stronger. Defeat enough enemies to fill the wave meter, choose an upgrade card, and prepare for an even tougher fight.

How to Play Blockader

The main goal in Blockader is simple: survive as long as possible while defeating waves of enemies.

Your character moves around the ring-shaped arena while their weapons attack automatically. Keep moving to avoid incoming enemies and ranged attacks, especially from dangerous Snipers.

As you defeat enemies, the wave meter fills. Once the required amount is reached, you can select from random upgrade cards. Choose carefully because your selections gradually shape your character's build.

Master the Arena Movement

Since attacks happen automatically, movement is the heart of Blockader gameplay. Don't stand still and wait for enemies to approach. Keep moving around the arena and create distance whenever the battlefield becomes crowded.

Watch for groups closing in from multiple directions. Sometimes moving around the outer part of the arena is safer, while other situations may require cutting across the center to escape a dangerous cluster.

The goal isn't simply to run away. Good positioning keeps enemies within range of your automatic weapons while giving you enough space to react.

Build a Powerful Upgrade Setup

After completing a wave, you'll be offered random upgrade cards. These cards can dramatically change how your character performs.

With more than 100 cards across four rarities, there are plenty of possibilities. Depending on your selections, your attacks can gain effects such as:

• More projectiles
• Chain lightning
• Poison effects
• Arrows
• Dragon companions
• Other combat enhancements

The best roguelite shooter strategy is to look for upgrades that work well together rather than choosing every powerful-looking card individually.
